瑞士國際繼承法修正案於2025年1月1日生效。它們允許居住在瑞士的外國公民和瑞士雙重或多重公民放棄瑞士對其全部財產的管轄權，並將其置於其外國祖國的管轄之下，他們沒有義務選擇本國法律。此外，擁有雙重或多重國籍的瑞士公民現在可以根據其祖國之一的法律進行繼承，而不論其國籍為何。

SWITZERLAND: International succession law now allows choice of jurisdiction

Amendments to Switzerland's international succession law came into force on 1 January 2025. They allow foreign nationals and Swiss dual or multiple citizens domiciled in Switzerland to waive Swiss jurisdiction over their entire estate and place it under the jurisdiction of their foreign home country. There is no obligation to choose the law of the home country. Furthermore, dual or multiple Swiss citizens may now place their succession under the law of one of their home countries, irrespective of their citizenship.
