JERSEY: Consultation on companies law amendments and new insolvency administration procedure
Jersey's government has published draft proposals to amend the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991, last amended in 2014. The largely technical proposed amendments arose from discussions with Jersey Finance and the Companies Law Working Group, including representatives of the Jersey Financial Services Commission, Revenue Jersey and the Jersey Association of Trust Companies. A new administration procedure is also being proposed for insolvent companies. The consultation is open until 13 December 2024.
