ISLE OF MAN: Regulator considers change of policy on family offices
The Manx financial regulator is beginning a consultation exercise to determine whether to impose registration and oversight requirements on family offices for ultra-high-net-worth families, rather than sitting outside the regulatory boundary as it does now. Initially, it is asking for information on the number of family office services being managed in or from the jurisdiction and the nature and extent of the activities, 'to shape our potential next steps'.
