SWITZERLAND: HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) barred from taking on new PEP clients
HSBC's Swiss private bank has been forbidden to take on new clients who are politically exposed persons (PEPs), after the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) found it had transferred more than USD300 million of Lebanese government funds to and from Switzerland between 2002 and 2015.
